Alan Pearl lives and works in Norfolk but is originally from London – born within the sound of the Bow Bells. He is mostly self-taught, having taken up painting relatively recently. He has attended workshops and art classes and learns lots from talking with other artists. He is beginning to exhibit his work locally and has applied to be a competitor in the prestigious Institute of East Anglian Artists competition 2023. His work is primarily inspired by the North Norfolk coast and is a mix of abstract seascapes and landscapes.
