Breckland

My memories were drawn to the Apollonas Kouros, an ancient sculpture which lies on the Isle of Naxos, where it remains unfinished, still fixed to the bedrock. My show is an exploration of the human form in relation to the landscape of which it is imbued. Included are water based images and paintings of different scales, and works of manipulated and applied paper/collage. Also on view are sculptures of various mixed media, plaster casts and fired local clay. The specially commissioned soundworld for the exhibition was created by Duncan Chapman.
